On October 20th 2014. The 7 board of directors members met briefly at an undisclosed location on the west side of Maple Ridge that sells coffee, donuts and other delicious foods that uses the name of an ex professional hockey player's name from an organization who hasn't won the Cup since 1967. We briefly reviewed our plans and possible strategies. With little persuasion (none in C.J.'s case), all 7 attending members let their name stand to move forward in the forming of our society. C.J. is a breath of fresh air bringing years of experience and knowledge to the table to make our dreams into reality. The hush hush name of our society will be released once our name is approved by the BC Registry Service. I almost can't believe this happening. Dots are being connected and we are organizing very fast. Tony Chung introduced us to freelance recording engineer Shawn Gommer who has also pitched in with a two year commitment to our project. Gord Morrison, our hero will be pooling his resources and making it possible for us to meet in a professional setting. Pam Burns has years of festival experience at various events globally. Karen Horne took notes and I stated my case. Why am I so passionate about this project? Coming soon in my next blog post. Thanks for reading. We're coming and we will be everywhere.
